Follow my blog with Bloglovin

I admit I am just a beginner with blogging even if I opened this one almost 3 years ago..
The reason is the fact I decided to open a blog in order to survive to the massive boredom of an almost empty buying office during Christmas time in 2011.
I spent 1 fab week in NY at the beginning of December that year so I had no "rights" to take big time off during regular holidays - for the happiness of all my colleagues that could use me as their multitasking backup.

There was basically nothing to do and since boredom is my worst enemy, I decided to do something creative and cool, a bit of research, a bit of study and the blog was born.
Unfortunately, on the 7th of January everybody came back and life started again it the craziest possible way so my blog was left alone for a while until the next Christmas came.
Same company, same situation, same boring days and the blog was the only occupation keeping me busy while everyone was at home eating panettone and watching Christmas movies on the sofa.

It is now the third year of this baby blog and as you can see very little changed :)

It is still Christmas time, I am in the office (a different one but with similar habits) and boredom was eating my hours when I decided once again the blog was the answer.
Today is the last day of 2013 and one of my good intentions for 2014 (on top of loosing 10kg in 2 months, be a better friend, eat more vegetables, go to the gym more often and stop buying pink sparkling stuff..) is to keep this blog alive and possibly write a bit more -  after all, Easter is only 4 months away :)

What about your good intentions for 2014? Are the same you just didn't fulfil this year and the 10 years before?
Are you the IalwaysgetwhatIwant type?

Happy New Year everyone, have fun, drink well and enjoy life!

xoxo

Courmayeur survival kit

Mountains survival

I came back from a week in my hometown just yesterday and I am already packing again for a short holiday in Courmayeur with boyfriend and friends.
Actually I am not the craziest one for winter sports (or basically any sport that doesn't include shops and food..) so I think I'll spend my time just chilling a lot, walking in the snow and taking too many pictures I will never properly post.
One day will be surely spent indulging at the incredibly beautiful (and probably packed) Pre Saint Didier SPA http://termedipre.it/en/ and many evenings trying not to go too crazy about the amazing Valle D'Aosta food.
And you? Are you already at the mountain or are you chilling on your sofa trying to get rid of the Christmas dinner?

Christmas craziness

It is just impossible not to stare at the latest Kardashian's Christmas card.
This year they asked the genius pop photographer David La Chapelle to shoot them and they gave him complete freedom to do whatever he desired..
Here is the crazy and stunning result, love it or hate it there's no way you're going to forget it.

Sweet sweet Christmas
